2005 BLC Cook-Off Challenge

For the 2005 BLC cook-off, TEAMWORK is the new name of the game. Based on this year’s survey results, participants have been divided up into teams of 3. Each team will compete in a weekly cook-off challenge. These cook-off challenges will occur every Tuesday throughout the month of September, starting with Tuesday, September 6.

For this year’s BLC cook-off, every team will need to:

1. Come up with a team name.
2. Select one of their members to serve as chef for each weekly cook-off.
   · No team member can serve as chef more than once.
   · Team members may assist the chef with everything but actual food preparation.
3. Prepare one dish/entry for each weekly cook-off.
4. Use the featured local ingredient as the main crux of their dish/entry.
5. Complete an official entry form on the day of each cook-off. This form will include:
   · Name of the dish
   · Recipe
   · Distributor of featured local ingredient
6. Judge all weekly cook-off dishes/entries based on:
   · Taste
   · Creativity
   · Prevalence of featured local ingredient

Cook-off winners will be announced on a weekly basis!
