Nurturing a Community for Adoptive Families

Many adoptive parents naturally wish for a partner to accompany them along what can be a confusing and often-overwhelming adoption journey. That’s why Vanguard is working with Adoptions Together to expand the reach of its Permanency Family Center (PFC) and connect with families that have recently adopted children. We develop enriching visual content for Facebook and Instagram, as well as culturally competent messages and blog posts that encourage peer support and community connection; curate and manage a private Facebook group for PFC families; promote PFC community events via engaging emails; update the Adoptions Together website; and provide strategic counsel to help the organization continue to cultivate a supportive and fulfilling community.
