Seeing a Bigger Digital Picture

Vanguard collaborated with AMDF on a digital strategy that would raise awareness about age-related macular degeneration, position AMDF as the go-to resource on the disease, and promote a cookbook recently released by the foundation, Eat Right For Your Sight. Our team worked quickly to brand and build an audience for AMDF on Facebook, position the organization and its spokespeople with national media, and organize a blog party to create buzz about the issue. By noon the day the blog party kicked off, we had already collected 20 blog posts that ranged in approach from personal accounts of the battle against age-related macular degeneration to cookbook reviews and riffs of cookbook recipes.
