Highlighting the Need for Budget Transparency

IBP works to improve budget transparency and help civil society organizations hold governments around the world accountable for how they manage public funds. Vanguard supported the organization by exploring IBP’s country partners’ needs and identifying ways to leverage communications strategies in their work. We facilitated a discussion in Brazil with nine of IBP’s country partners on the value of strategic communications; conducted on-site strategic communications planning sessions with partners in Brazil, Indonesia and Nigeria; and provided IBP with a road map for meeting the diverse communications needs of their partners.
