Revealing the Impact of Community Health Programs

MedStar Health’s Report to the Community is an annual showcase piece featuring profiles of MedStar’s programs that help underserved and vulnerable populations in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Vanguard works with MedStar to research and craft the stories about these programs and MedStar’s impact on people’s lives. We organize photo shoots that capture the faces of those who benefit from MedStar programs and make sure to share stories and visuals in a way that allows participants to feel comfortable and empowered as they share their experiences. Bringing the Report to the Community online in 2016, the report now includes video stories, which Vanguard scripts and helps develop, in addition to other stories and visuals that reflect the programs’ accomplishments.
